Hole 1
Par 4 | 275 yards
Welcome to the opening hole at London Airlinks Golf Course, you’re in for an epic round!
It’s tempting to go for the green with your tee shot, but put the driver away and save the bravado for later in the round.
Hole 2
Par 5 | 573 yards
After the short 1st hole, you’re now greeted with a monster par 5.
Almost 600 yards from the tips, it requires three almighty blows to hit the green in regulation.
Hole 3
Par 4 | 350 yards
Avoid the fairway bunker and this straightforward par 4 could offer up a birdie chance.
Take care to pick the right line on the large undulating green.
Hole 4
Par 3 | 209 yards
This is classic links golf at its best. Steep dunes around the green create a dramatic amphitheatre effect.
Be sure to club up as this hole plays much longer than it looks.
Hole 5
Par 3 | 164 yards
It’s double trouble on this back to back par 3. The green slopes viciously left to right so pick your landing spot and let gravity do its thing.
Don’t go right of the greenside bunker otherwise you’ll face an impossible recovery shot.
Hole 6
Par 4 | 395 yards
Hold tight, as won’t find another hole like this at any golf course. A rollercoaster 90º dogleg with danger all the way from tee to green.
The scorecard says par 4, but a four here will feel like an eagle.
Hole 7
Par 4 | 336 yards
Aim for the marker post and you’ll be rewarded with a clear view of the green for your approach.
You can shorten the dogleg by taking on the apex, but heavy rough has become the final resting place for many tee shots.
Hole 8
Par 4 | 179 yards
The highest point of the course offers dramatic views of the London skyline.
The planespotters among you will also enjoy watching jumbos on their final approach to neighbouring Heathrow.
Hole 9
Par 4 | 267 yards
This short par 4 presents a classic risk/reward decision – the green is reachable from the tee for most.
However, that birdie you’re eyeing up could easily turn into a cardwrecker. Proceed with caution!
Hole 10
Par 4 | 288 yards
Congratulations, you’ve survived the challenging front nine!
The start to the second half of your round is a gentle par 4 that will flatter most golfers, and a chance to recover some dropped shots.
Hole 11
Par 4 | 439 yards
Stroke index 1 for a reason. At the end of thin ribbon of fairway, you’ll just about make out the green in the distance.
With out of bounds left and right, you’ll need to bring your ‘A’ game.
Hole 12
Par 4 | 324 yards
After the punishing 11th, you’ll now find a much wider, welcoming fairway to aim at.
The 12th is a slight dogleg right and a chance to claw back the inevitabale dropped shots from the previous hole.
Hole 13
Par 3 | 119 yards
The picturesque 13th is a charm, but can be unlucky for some.
It only measures 119 yards, but many fluffed Pro V1s have met a watery grave.
Hole 14
Par 4 | 296 yards
Another trademark links-style hole, requiring a perfectly positioned tee shot in order to reach the green in two.
Aim for the bridge and beware the ditch that runs the full length of the fairway.
Hole 15
Par 3 | 172 yards
The final par-3 plays longer that it looks.
Make sure you take plenty of club, and avoid the large greenside bunker. Easier said than done!
Hole 16
Par 4 | 315 yards
Another risk/reward hole that’s characteristic of London Airlinks Golf Course.
Take on the dogleg for an easy chip to the green – just don’t go left otherwise it’s an instant reload.
Hole 17
Par 4 | 270 yards
Eyes on the prize – this short par 4 has many reaching for the driver, only to live in regret.
Don’t throw it all away on the penultimate hole!
Hole 18
Par 4 | 349 yards
Homeward bound! The final hole is a rolling par-4 with a downhill approach to a well-guarded green.
Tap in for par and head to the 19th hole for a well-deserved drink and bite to eat.
