Uphill par 5 which starts with trees lining both sides of the fairway. The approach to the green is a blind shot over the crest of the hill. Two greenside bunkers at the front of the green leave a narrow opening to roll the ball onto the green.
An intrepid par 4 worthy of its Stroke Index # 1 status. The fairway is a dogleg left with a downhill gradient after your tee shot. A narrow green to aim for on the approach, with greenside bunker to the right.
Short par 4 with a wide fairway. Fairway slopes to the right so avoiding the trees is a must. A bunker located on the front right of the green requires a well played shot over the top. With a two tiered green, putting will be a challenge.
First par 3 on this course. The 4th has a raised tee box with an uphill fairway leading to a central green. There are 2 bunkers either side of the green at the front creating a difficult shot to land on the green in one.
Our second par 5 and the right line is key. A treelined fairway leads downhill with a narrow opening between the pond and the ditch on either side. With two bunkers on either side of the green and a small pond behind the green, you’ll do well to secure a birdie.
Think carefully about your tee shot, as the fairway immediately bends left over the crest. The fairway narrows in places and is lined with trees, so a steady shot is needed. Small banks and a bunker make for a challenging approach to the green.
A short par 4 offers a birdie chance. The green is within distance of big hitters, but others may take the safer option, due to a narrow fairway sandwiched between trees. Make your decision wisely!
The easier of our two par 3s. A large green and generous approach is usually sympathetic to stray shots. As long as you avoid the greenside bunker, this hole shouldn’t give you too much trouble.
The finale to your round is dogleg left, following the fairway. Laying up at the top of the hill to gives you a better approach to the green. Trees and out of bounds flanking the hole means it’s wise not to go for glory!
